An interview with somebody from Borneo is always an exciting prospect and that is the case when it comes to Ramona Gray. An early boot from the first season, Ramona still sees herself as part of the Survivor family and even a bit of a ‘relic’ in the world of the reality juggernaut. She still holds a desire to return despite it being 12 years since she played, and is even willing to fly Ben out to chat with her should she win.
Starting off on the ‘MTV crew’ Pagong tribe, Ramona didn’t drink enough water during her initial early days and suffered dehydration. Therefore after falling sick, she soon found herself a target and was voted out of the tribe without ever getting to show her worth.
In our interview with Ramona, she talks about being a ‘relic’ and ‘has been’, why and how she applied for the first ever season, why Jeff Probst ‘hated’ Pagong, trying to vote out Jeff in tribal council, the antics of Greg Buis, eating rats and Tagi having it easy with lots of fish, who she would’ve voted for on the final tribal council had she made the jury as well as her comments about Jenna Lewis being her ‘only white friend’ and flying Ben out to the States to interview her in person!
